ROB SUTTON: New & Used Car Sales Business Manager/Controller, Rochdale. Rob started his sales career in 1997 working for Pepsi as a Sales Rep. at the age of 20. After being on the road for 3 years and getting a little bored of his own company every day, he decided a change was needed and the motortrade was it. Having had a passion for cars as far as he can remember, Rob started out as a Trainee Sales Executive in 1999. After working for Peugeot, then Volkswagon, Rob landed at OMC in July 2005 with 6 years of excellent Car Sales history behind him. Rob was quickly promoted to our New and Used Car Sales Business Manager in Rochdale. Working closely with the sales manager, Stewart, they have managed to increase the Ford Oval Brand in Rochdale and year on year improve awareness of this relatively new Dealership. Rob is now our New and Used Car Controller in Rochdale as well as Business Manager, so from start to finish he will help our customers experience a more individual and personal experience when buying their next car, from bespoke tailored finance packages, to the ins and outs of every deal, Rob will strive to get the perfect deal for all our customers. During what little spare time Rob has, he is a keen mountain biker and likes nothing more than to get out on his bike away from the hussle and bussle of daily life. NIGEL BAILEY: Used Car Sales Executive, Oldham Nigel has been in the retail industry for over 40 years and has spent the last 6 years at OMC Ford in our used car department. Nigel has run his own successful retail business for 25 years before pursuing a career in car sales. PHIL EVANS: Used Car Sales Executive, Rochdale Phil began his sales career with Quicks of Ashton on 1978 after serving his time as a motor mechanic for 10 years. He joined Tom Mellor Ford in Rochdale in 1985 then had stints with Vauxhall and Peugeot before returning to the Ford Oval with OMC in 2006. Obviously Phil's experience is of huge benefit to the business and his knowledge of the local market is second to none. His goal is to make buying a used car as easy and enjoyable as he can. A bit of a red wine connoisseur , he also enjoys football, passionatley following Manchester United and Stockport county, though never at the same time. TONY SHIRREFF: Used Car Sales Executive, Rochdale Tony started his automotive career back in 1982 working for the Henly's group in Oldham. During this time Tony has been involved with manufacturers such as Mitsubishi, Hyundai and Volvo taking on various roles from Sales Executive to Franchise Manager. Tony joined OMC Rochdale in 2007 to work along side Phil in our busy Used Car Department. Between them we have now over 58 years of experience working on our Used Cars here in Rochdale, with a level of service to be expected that is second to none. Unlike Phil, Tony has less of an interest in Football (to say the least), with his main past time involving catching up on the latest technologies. PETER OGDEN: OMC Group Trade Buyer/Seller Peter started his motortrade career as a mechanic back in 1963 at the tender age of 16, working for Manchester Corporation Buses. After deciding to down tools, Peter started working for Ford as a Sales Executive for Queen Ann Garage in Shaw (a small Ford Retail site). Peter than came to the OMC Family in 1984 as a Used Car Sales Executive at our busy Manchester Road Site in Oldham. After showing huge potential and a natural flare with our customers Pete was promoted to Used Car Sales Manager in 1997. After continued exceptional performance and making OMC the place to buy your used car in Oldham, Peter was again promoted to OMC Group Trade Buyer/Seller in 2008. Already we are reaping the rewards of his promotion, having a fantastic range of perfect quality used cars for our 3 sites all priced to be the best buys in town. Pete is a huge asset to our day to day running of the business and is always there 100% to whatever challenge faces him. ROCCO SIKKING: Used Car sales executive Rocco who hails from the beautiful country of Holland joined OMC in March 2011. He has a wealth of experience in the motor trade having sold such prestigious brands as Lamborghini and Ferrari. He followed this with a stint in the property business working for Bridgfords out of their Hale office. But after a while he missed the fast paced action of volume car sales and so he returned to what he knew best. Away from work he spends as much time with his family as possible and on occasion he does sneak away for a quick pint or exploratory bike ride. CHRIS STEPHENS: Used Car Sales Executive Chris joined OMC in September 2011 following his long time collegue Andrew from a rival Ford Dealership. Chris had been selling Fords for 8 years before joining OMC and brought with him a loyal customer following who insisted that they would only buy cars from Chris no matter where he was. That kind of loyalty was built up through years of hard work, attention to detail and most all a steadfast determination to supply his customers with exactly what they wanted, namely the right car, the right service and all at the right price. Previous to joining the car trade Chris served the crown working for Royal Mail. After 17 years he left his letters behind to work at the The Model Centre based within the Trafford Centre. But after 5 years of selling toy cars Chris decided to try his hand at the real thing and joined Bramall Quicks (as it was then).
