With a showroom on Whalley Road and a reputation stretching back more than a century, OMC Motorgroup is a must visit for used car sales for Accrington.
There are many businesses selling used cars in and around Accrington, so why head to Altham West to visit us?
We have an unmatched reputation for customer service and provide excellent used cars at a fair price.
Often, car dealers have poor average ratings, full of one and two star reviews. By way of a contrast, we average close to five out of five across multiple independent review sites.
Reviews of OMC Motorogroup from ford.co.uk (4.7 out of 5 rating from 163 reviews)
Reviews from AutoTrader (4.9 out of 5 from 120 reviews)
Reviews from Google (4.2 out of 5 from 200 reviews)
This high level of service is why we have grown and thrived through repeat business and word of mouth recommendation - many of our customers in Accrington buying from us, years later trading in for a new model and also using us for all servicing needs.
The precise nature of cars in stock changes but what we can say at any time is that we have cars suitable for all needs and every budget.
At the time of writing, we have cars ranging in price from under £4,000 - this perhaps perfect for a first car - through to almost ten times that amount - this for a beautiful Ford Kuga with under 1,000 miles on the clock.
In between, there is a huge range - superminis, family cars, cars for commuting and cars that can happily be used for family holidays - the dog included.
Increasingly, we also have a number of hybrid and electric vehicles available as used cars, these an affordable way to buy a first hybrid car and start enjoying significant savings to running costs.
If you see a car online at one of our other locations, please let us know as we can also arrange for it to be moved to Accrington so that you can enjoy a test drive.
We would love to see you at our Accrington showroom, but we have also made it easy to browse online.
For every car, you can see multiple images and there is even a contact form whereby you can request a personalised video tour of the car. If you have any questions we can answer them in this video too.
The finance options are clearly visible and there is a link by any vehicle to arrange a test drive, this completely without obligation.
Whatever the age or price tag of the vehicle, we are committed to it leaving us in superb condition.
We have expert mechanics and technicians and use approved parts with all repairs. Our skillset goes back generations, as a family-owned business we have been in operation in the north west for more than a century, going back to a time when the Model T was the one car available.
Nowadays, the choice is far wider - modern vehicles also better adapted to cope with the hilly landscape around Accrington… What has not changed is that we remain committed to serving the local region with distinction.
Two of our recent reviews state:
"My experience was very professional and friendly if I had any questions regarding my purchase I was able to call and speak to the sales team who were friendly and reliable. Would very much recommend this business when looking for a new car and I will be returning when my car needs service and MOT. The car is in perfect condition and I was talked through the parts that needed slight repairs, the salesman was extremely trustworthy and helpful. A great experience test driving and assisted in the setting up of all necessary documents, was able to take the car away quickly and with no hassle.”
"A trusted and well-established company. Mature, pleasant and knowledgeable staff, ambience far superior to buying from noisy, flash and overpriced places where the young staff are all over you! Make this your first port of call."

Accrington is a town with a population of 35,000 people located in Lancashire, north west England. The town’s closest neighbours are Blackburn, Burnley and Preston, while Manchester city centre is just 20 miles away.
The town has historic significance as a former centre of the cotton and textile industries and it is believed to be the home of the hardest building bricks in the world - The Accrington Nori. These iron bricks were instrumental in the construction of the Statue of Liberty.
The town’s name is Anglo-Saxon in origin, first appearing in record in the 12th century.
The town is known for and rightly proud of the ‘Accrington Pals’ these a battalion of volunteers who formed to fight in World War One, it is believed that this was the smallest of all such ‘pal’ groups formed for the war (the pals were a peculiarity of WWI, the prevailing thinking at the time being that allowing groups of friends to form a battalion would boost morale).
The Pals first faced action at the Battle of the Somme and suffered huge losses. Their service is remembered on the white stone cenotaph that stands in Oak Hill Park.
The town is also well known for its football club, Accrington Stanley. Accrington was, until 2012, the smallest town in England to have a Football League club.
