Here’s some of the reasons why electric commercial vehicles are perfect for your business​.

Incentives from the UK Government to upgrade to an Electric Vehicle

With the government aiming to meet various sustainability targets, they now offer various highlyattractive propositions to UK business owners, that will make switching to an electric vehicle evenmore enticing.

Capital Allowance for Electric Vehicles

Purchasing an electric company vehicle after April means you can claim Capital Allowance. If you purchase an Electric Vehicle, this qualifies for 100% first year allowances, enabling you to deduct the full cost from your profits before tax.

Grants for Electric Vehicles

If you are a business with 249 employees or less and meet specific other criteria, you can apply for the electric vehicle infrastructure grant which gives you money off the cost of wider building and

installation work that’s needed to install multiple charge point sockets. The grant will cover up to 75% of the cost of the work, up to a maximum of £15,000.

Low Emission Vehicle Grants

Benefit from a 35% discount to the price on the purchase of a new Ford electric commercial vehicle to a maximum of £2,500. The discount applies to both the Ford E-Transit and incoming Ford E-Transit Custom.

Benefit-in-Kind Tax

With electric vehicles releasing lower emission they are also eligible for lower Benefit-In-Kind Tax rates, reducing the overall amount of tax you will pay
