The Ford S-MAX is built for exciting escapes to the great outdoors. Since every adventure is more fun when you share it, this elegant Sport Activity Vehicle (SAV) has plenty of space for people and their things. A five or seven-seater configuration, up to three ISOFIX points for child seats, and a flexible seating system means accommodation for everyone and everything that goes with them — from suitcases to surf boards.
The Ford S-MAX Hybrid offers a new engine option: a 2.5-litre petrol hybrid engine. Alongside reduced CO2 emissions, it delivers exceptional power, torque and towing capability. There’s no need for plug-in charging and the battery is hidden under the floor, so there is no compromise on loadspace at all. In fact, you’ll find every inch of this car is designed for those with an adventurous spirit.

KEEPING YOU INSIDE THE SPEED LIMIT
Intelligent Speed Assist works with Traffic Sign Recognition to enhance your speed control, enabling you to concentrate on the road. When activated, the system can identify the local speed limit and then automatically adjust your maximum speed accordingly.
HANDS-FREE TAILGATE
If you’ve got your hands full, and the S-MAX senses the proximity of your KeyFree key fob, all you have to do is wave your foot under the rear bumper and the tailgate will automatically open or close.
STRESS-FREE PARKING AND PULLING OUT
Works like Active Park Assist in reverse, helping you manoeuvre out of a parallel space. The system steers while you operate the accelerator, brake and gears. When the vehicle has cleared the space, it informs you to 'Take control of steering' as a message through the cluster.
